Reno, Nev. – The Reno Aces (18-19) fell to the Tacoma Rainiers (20-17) in a close 12-10 defeat on Friday night at Greater Nevada Field. With the loss, Reno snaps a three-game winning streak.

Andres Chaparro continued his terror in May. The 25-year-old launched two home runs, including a 445-foot 2-run nuke over the left-field porch in the seventh inning, while also driving in six runs. He is now 18-for-36 (.500) with seven extra-base hits (three home runs) and 15 RBI in May.

Jancarlos Cintron and Albert Almora Jr. both tallied three hits in the contest. Cintron brought in a double and an RBI, the infielder is 6-for-11 (.545) with four RBI in the past three games. With the performance, Almora Jr. stands atop the Pacific Coast League in hits with 49.

Tommy Henry took a no-decision on Friday, allowing Tacoma to score four runs on five hits and three walks in 5.1 innings of work, he punched out five. The southpaw now owns a 3.97 ERA and a 13:4 K:BB through two starts with the Aces.

The Aces will look to get back on track in Saturday’s matchup against the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, with the first pitch scheduled for 4:05 p.m. PT.
