WinterFest now open at Greater Nevada Field

RENO - WinterFest - a festive holiday attraction featuring a Christmas tree lot, a Christmas train ride and appearances from Santa Claus in "Santa's Village" - has officially opened at Greater Nevada Field.

The tree lot is open from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. seven days a week. Tree prices start at $48.50 and run up to $151. Sales tax is included in the price and prices vary depending on the tree size.

The Christmas train and Santa appearances run from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Sundays. The train ride prices are a flat rate of $8 for children and adults, with a reduced price of $5 for daytime rides (12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturdays; 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sundays).
