COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Reno Aces took the field on the road Saturday night marking their first victory at Security Service Field in game two of the series with 17 hits over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Trailing by two runs in the ninth, Reno rallied with six runs on six hits to take the final 12-8 lead. Kristopher Negrón was the hero on the night after he gave the Aces the advantage in the ninth with his bases loaded clearing double. Negrón finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI with two doubles.

After allowing just one hit through the first three frames, Badamo was nickel and dimed in the bottom of the fourth when the Sky Sox tied the game up with a double and three infield base hits. The Aces quickly changed that, however, with three runs total in the fifth and sixth innings.
The Sky Sox cut the Aces lead short in the bottom of the sixth when they tallied two more runs on three hits off of Badamo to complete his first Triple-A start after 5.1 innings.
In the eighth, pinch-hitter
With a record of 2-35 when trailing after eight innings, the Aces reversed the stat and rallied in the ninth with six runs on six hits to finally seal the last lead. After Reno loaded the bases with one out while trailing by a run, Negrón saw one pitch which he sent deep to right field and off the wall to clear the bases and give the Aces a two-run lead. Freeman and Vargas would follow with RBI base hits to give the Aces a four-run cushion heading into the bottom frame.
Reliever
