Albuquerque Nips Clips 8-7
Fan-favorite Valentino Pascucci belted his first home run since arriving at Minor League camp, a two-run shot in the third that gave the Isotopes an early 5-0 lead. Catcher J.D. Closser added a two-run double in the fifth that increased the advantage to 7-2 Isotopes.
Right-hander Ronald Belisario tossed three scoreless innings before turning things over to the bullpen, which fended off a late Clippers rally to deliver the victory.
