The Isotopes (25-21) moved into a first place tie with the Bees (25-21) in the Pacific Southern Division after defeating Salt Lake, 4-3, on Monday night at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque is now on a four-game winning streak and its record is four games over .500 for the first time this season.

Albuquerque collected nine hits on the evening with Mike Tauchman and Stephen Cardullo recording the only multi-hit games. The Isotopes and Bees were even at 3-3 in the seventh inning before a balk on Salt Lake pitcher Jake Jewell allowed Albuquerque to bring home the go-ahead run.
Jeff Hoffman held the Bees to three runs and six hits during his 5.2 innings on the mound. The right-hander also struck out five batters in the contest, increasing his season total to a team-high of 49.
Reliever Jerry Vasto earned his second win of the year after tossing 2.1 scoreless innings. Vasto has now recorded scoreless appearances in 12 of his 15 outings, compiling a 2.12 ERA. Scott Oberg closed out the victory for the Isotopes with his second save of the 2018 campaign.
The Isotopes look to continue their winning streak on Wednesday with lefty David Holmberg scheduled to take the hill. Salt Lake will hand the ball to fellow southpaw John Lamb. The game is slated to get underway at 6:35 p.m.
