The Beloit Snappers are the Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Founded in 1982, we have been committed to providing excellent professional baseball and being a focal point for bringing the community together for one common event, Minor League Baseball.

Throughout the history of the Snappers, the club has been affiliated with multiple different Major League Baseball teams, including the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, and the current affiliate, the Oakland Athletics. In fact, from 1982 until 1994 the club was named after the parent club and known as the Beloit Brewers.

Entering the 38th season of professional baseball in Beloit, the franchise has supported over 160 baseball players that completed their dream of playing in Major League Baseball. However, every player that steps between the white lines has become a part of the Snappers family and have helped build the rich tradition of Minor League Baseball in Beloit, WI.

Pohlman Field is where the Snappers call home, a beautiful old-school ballpark that makes you feel connected with the players as a fan. Pohlman Field has welcomed 15 playoff runs with the 1995 season resulting in the Snappers only Midwest League Championship.

The Snappers are excited to open the gates for another season of Minor League Baseball with 2019 poised to carry on the rich tradition of professional baseball in Beloit, WI.
