Spotlight #1 - Folds of Honor (April 12, 2019)

During the first spotlight night of the 2019 Hometown Heroes program, the Dragons will be recognizing Folds of Honor. Folds of Honor's mission is to provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service-members.

On Friday, April 12, Folds of Honor will be presenting $10,000 in scholarship to two local Miami Valley residents.

Peter Witt is the son of United States Air Force Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Daniel J. Witt. LtCol Witt served honorably for over 15 years before he was killed the line of duty while serving under Operation Iraqi Freedom. Peter is a college senior studying Architecture and Sustainability at Miami University. He is from Beavercreek, Ohio.

Sara Stamps (Brown) is the wife of United States Army Corporal Nicholas P. Brown. Before he was killed in action, CPL Brown served honorably for over five years under Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Purple Heart Award. Sara Beth is a college sophomore who is studying Nursing at Wright State College. She is from Troy, Ohio.

Spotlight #2 - Team RWB (May 22, 2019)

The second spotlight night of 2019 will shine the light on Team RWB. Their mission is to enrich the lives of America's veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.

Join the Dragons and Team RWB on Wednesday, May 22 to be a part of this special spotlight.

Spotlight #3 - Missed Milestones (June 23, 2019)

The third spotlight will focus on those military couples who unfortunately due to deployment or other military responsibilities, have missed their anniversaries. There will be a make-up celebration where these couples will get to enjoy a nice dinner, and enjoy a fun night at Fifth Third Field together.
