The Dayton Dragons announced today that Banana Ball will visit Day Air Ballpark in Dayton in 2027. On Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7, two of the six teams in the Banana Ball Championship League will battle in Dayton. Teams playing will be the Firefighters and the Loco Beach Coconuts.
What is Banana Ball? Banana Ball is a fast-paced, fans-first version of baseball unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Created by the Savannah Bananas, Banana Ball is packed with 11 unique rules designed to keep the action non-stop and the crowd on their feet from the first pitch to the last out. From the no-walks rule to the point-per-inning system, every aspect of Banana Ball is designed with one goal in mind: entertain the fans. It is baseball reimagined, and once you watch it, you can’t go back https://bananaball.com.
How do you get tickets? Dragons season ticket holders will get the first opportunity to try and purchase tickets via a Season Ticket Holder pre-sale in January. The Dragons will be sending an “opt-in” email to all Dragons season ticket holders to determine their interest in purchasing Banana Ball tickets.
If you are not currently a Dragons season ticket holder and are interested in information on Dragons season ticket plans, please contact the Dragons at (937) 228-2287 or via email at [email protected] or click here: Dragons Season Tickets Interest Form. Tickets plans are available starting as small as 8 games.
All interested fans are encouraged to sign up for the official ticket lottery at BananaBall.com. Fans should sign up for the Bananas ticket lottery before it closes on October 31 at 11:59 pm (EDT). Joining the list does not guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will take place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. If you are drawn, you will be communicated with directly for your next steps.
Seating in hospitality areas will also be available for both games, including on the Craftsmen Home Improvements Suite Level, South Dayton Toyota Diamond Club, South Dayton Toyota Diamond Club, Kona Big Wave Dragons Lair, Party Decks, Club Level front row, 4Topps, and first five row seats. The Dragons will be contacting sponsors and suite lease holders with options.
Dragons season ticket holders are always provided with the earliest opportunity to purchase tickets to special events at Day Air Ballpark.
How much are tickets? Bananas standard tickets start at $35 with “Meet and Greet” tickets starting at $125. No hidden fees or taxes. Tickets will only be sold through the Banana official lottery on BananaBall.com. Any tickets for sale outside of this platform are likely fraudulent.
