Water Street District will be hosting a special “Party at the Plaza” on Opening Day, Tuesday April 7, at Day Air Ballpark bringing extra fun and excitement to the heart of the Water Street District!

There will be Dragons excitement, food, beer from Heidelberg Distributing, live music with DJ Todd Banks, inflatables for kids, oversized lawn games, cornhole, goodies and more! These parties will also be joined by Heater, Gem, Blaze, the Green Team, and the Orange Crush Crew! Water Street District and Community Members will be on hand to celebrate Opening Day and share all the great parts of living in downtown Dayton.

Fans and downtown residents are encouraged to head to the heart of the Water Street District and visit the plaza between 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. to enjoy the festivities before the game!

Water Street District will host three more “Party at the Plaza” events during the 2026 season. These events will take place on the following dates with more details to come:

• May 15 | 5:30 – 7:30pm
  Dragons vs. Lake County Captains (7:05PM)
• June 12 | 5:30 – 7:30pm
  Dragons vs. Fort Wayne Tincaps (7:05PM)
• August 7 | 5:30 – 7:30pm featuring appearances from STAR WARS characters
  Dragons vs. Great Lakes Loons (7:05PM)
