Bulls Close Home Season With Win

Durham, NC --- Jared Oliva and Jake Fraley each hit two-run homers to lead the Durham
Bulls to a 7-2 win over the Nashville Sounds in their home finale at the DBAP on Sunday
afternoon.

The Bulls (37-31) scored twice in the first inning against Nashville starter Thomas Pannone
(L, 5-4). Pannone, who threw a perfect game against Durham on Monday, allowed the first
batter of the game to reach on an infield single. Jake Fraley was hit by the next pitch, then
Austin Slater looped a single to right-center to score Jared Oliva for a 1-0 lead. Carson
Williams then delivered a sacrifice fly to score Fraley for a 2-0 advantage.

In the second, Olive connected for a two-run homer to center putting Durham ahead 4-0.
The Bulls added three against Pannone in the fourth, a rally started by a bunt single by Oliva
with two outs. Fraley drilled a two-run homer to right, then Slater singled and scored on a
double by Xavier Isaac.

Logan Workman (W, 4-8), who was on the losing end of Monday's perfect game by Pannone,
notched the victory on Sunday with six innings of two-run ball.

Oliva led the Bulls' nine-hit attack with three hits and three runs scored. Oliva also walked
and stole a base. Slater went 2-4 with a run and RBI.

The Bulls closed their home portion at 32-43 and by winning the final three of the series,
split the 18-game duel with Nashville in 2026.

Durham concludes the 2026 season on the road against the Worcester Red Sox beginning
on Tuesday night at 6:05 PM ET
