Bulls Return For Final 11 Home Games Of 2012

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls return to the DBAP on Saturday, August 18th for the season's final stretch of regular season home games. The Bulls will face their three division opponents to close out the home portion of the schedule, as only eleven home games remain in 2012. Five fireworks shows, Bark in the Park, Military Appreciation Night, and Faith & Family Night headline the event calendar.

The Gwinnett Braves roll into Durham for a two game series on Saturday, August 18th. The homestand opener, presented by Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, will feature the first of five postgame fireworks shows to close out the season. The 5:05pm game on Sunday, August 19th is presented by Target Clinic. Prior to the game, the Drug-Free Junior Bulls kids club will participate in a VIP experience at the ballpark. Kids Run the Bases following Sunday's game, thanks to Pepsi.

Monday's 7:05pm game against the Charlotte Knights is presented by the NC Peanut Growers Association and fans who bring in a jar of peanut butter to donate to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern Carolina will receive a free bag of peanuts. Monday is also Recycling Night, presented by YP Holdings, LLC, where fans can get a free ticket voucher for that night's game by bringing in an old copy of the yellow pages.

The Bulls finish the quick two game set with Charlotte on Tuesday, August 21st, when fans can get 2 Terrace Reserved Tickets for $9, thanks to Whole Foods Market. Tuesday's 7:05pm game will also feature the return of Bark in the Park. Fans can bring their four-legged friends with them to sit in a pet-friendly section at the DBAP, and $5 from each special Bark in the Park ticket will go to Second Chance Pet Adoptions.

On Wednesday, August 22nd, the Bulls welcome the Norfolk Tides for the first contest of a five game series. Wednesday's 7:05pm game is presented by Quintiles. On the Thursday, August 23rd game presented by Sport Durst Automotive Group, fans can take advantage of $1 concession items, including Bright Leaf hot dogs, popcorn and fries. It will also be College Night, where students can get a Terrace View ticket and $5 in Bulls Bucks for just $10 or an Outfield Reserved ticket for only $4.99 by entering the promo code COLLEGE when purchasing tickets online at durhambulls.com.

Two Friday Night Fireworks shows remain this season, on August 24th and August 31st. On the 24th, the Bulls and Kangaroo Express will present Military Appreciation Night. The DBAP will also welcome hundreds of Girl Scouts on the 24th for a postgame sleepover on Girl Scout Night, presented by Great Outdoor Provision Co. Prior to the game on Saturday, August 25th, Sanofi US presents the free Play4Health™ event at the DBAP from 9:00am-Noon. Following Saturday night's game, also presented by Sanofi US, there will be yet another fireworks show.

On the final Sunday home game of 2012, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina presents Future You℠ Night. The Bulls will also host Faith & Family Night, featuring a pregame concert by bands New Method and Everember. Faith & Family Night tickets are available for $12 at durhambulls.com and include the pregame concert, which begins at 2:15pm, and a game ticket. Following Sunday's 5:05pm game, Kids Run the Bases one last time, thanks to Pepsi.

After an off day and a short three game road trip, the Bulls return home on Friday, August 31st for the final two home games of the regular season. The 7:05pm game against Charlotte on August 31st is presented by North Carolina Education Lottery.

The Bulls wrap up the home portion of the 2012 schedule on Saturday, September 1st with a 7:05pm game against the rival Charlotte Knights. The season will end with a bang, as fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks show.
