Minor League Baseball on Monday afternoon announced that Bulls right-hander Joe Boyle has been named the International League's Pitcher of the Week for the period of June 3-8. It marks the third time Boyle has received a weekly league honor this season.

The 25-year-old fired six scoreless innings on June 7 at Jacksonville, yielding two hits and one walk while fanning eight of the 21 batters he faced to extend his consecutive scoreless innings streak to 13.0 frames. In 11 starts this season, Boyle has compiled a 4-4 record and 1.50 ERA (54.0 IP), adding 22 walks and 64 strikeouts. He currently paces the International League in ERA, batting average against (.151), and WHIP (0.93), in addition to ranking tied for sixth in strikeouts.

Boyle has previously been named the International League's Pitcher of the Week for the time periods between April 14-20, and May 12-18. It marks the first time dating back through at least the 2021 campaign a Bulls player has earned a weekly league honor three times in the same season.

Following Monday's off day, Durham returns home to the DBAP on Tuesday, June 10 to begin a six-game homestand versus the Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
