Boyle fired 5.0 scoreless frames of one-hit ball to earn the victory on May 19 at Rochester, adding one walk and five strikeouts in a 7-4 win. The right-hander previously was named IL Pitcher of the Week for the span of April 13-20 after tossing the first six innings of Durham's no-hitter on April 19.
Across seven starts with the Bulls this season, the 25-year-old owns a 3-3 record and 1.46 ERA (37.0 IP), adding 13 walks and 39 strikeouts. He enters play today pacing the International League in earned-run average, WHIP (0.84), and batting average against (.144).

Durham returns home to Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Monday, May 26 to start a six-game homestand versus the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch of the series opener is slated for 5:05pm.
