In nine games with the Rays this season, DeLuca has batted .435 (10-23) with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. He was placed on the Injured List on April 8 with a right shoulder strain before being transferred to the 60-day Injured List on May 27. Over four games with the FCL Rays (R) as part of his MLB Rehab Assignment he has posted a .182 average (2-11) with one run and one RBI, adding three walks and two strikeouts.
Across three MLB seasons from 2023-25, DeLuca has compiled a .234 average (93-397) with 38 runs, 13 doubles, five triples, eight homers and 38 RBI in 140 games. Over 107 contests with Tampa Bay last year he compiled a .217 mark (72-332) with 29 runs, 12 doubles, four triples, six homers and 31 RBI. He also appeared in six games with Durham last year on an MLB Rehab Assignment, batting .300 (6-20) with six runs, one double, two homers and six RBI.
The Bulls are back in action this evening in Charlotte to start a three-game series against the Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Durham returns to the DBAP for a six-game homestand on Tuesday, July 22 to host the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.
