Padres Infielder Jake Cronenworth Scheduled for Rehab Appearance During Chihuahuas Homestand

EL PASO – May 6, 2025 – The El Paso Chihuahuas are back at Southwest University Park tonight, Tuesday, May 6, to kick off a six-game series against the Texas Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express, running through Sunday, May 11. The series opener features a special appearance by San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth, who is scheduled to begin a Major League rehab assignment tonight.

Fans will enjoy a packed promotional lineup throughout the homestand, beginning with tonight’s Vintage Chihuahuas Cap Giveaway, presented by Texicare, available to 1,500 guests through the gates. Other promotions this week include:
