Chihuahuas Add Fireworks Spectacular Show for Memorial Day Presented by GECU

El Paso, Texas - May 23, 2022 – The Chihuahuas announced today the addition of a second Fireworks Spectacular in honor of Memorial Day to be held on Sunday, May 29 when the Chihuahuas take on the Houston Astros affiliate – Sugar Land Space Cowboys. First pitch is slated for 6:05 p.m.

The 6-game series kicks off with Taco Tues & Brews Tuesday, May 24 in a 6:05 p.m. game and is followed by the final mid-week day game of the season on Wednesday, May 25. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. and first pitch is at 11:05 a.m.

The first premium giveaway is on Friday with the first 1,500 guests in attendance with paid admission will receive a Chihuahuas Howling Dog Jersey (limit one per person).

The Chihuahuas and Whataburger have partnered on Friday to collect non-perishable and monetary donations for the Child Crisis Center of El Paso. This is the second of five drives that are taking place during the 2022 season. In exchange for a non-perishable donation, including monetary donations, ticketed patrons will receive a coupon good for a free Whataburger, while supplies last!

Saturday is the first of back-to-back Fireworks Spectacular games. Saturday's display will be to the tunes of Abba and Sunday's fireworks, presented by GECU, will be in honor of Memorial Day. Both displays will be choreographed to music.
