Steven Cusumano To Broadcast Yankees’ Spring Breakout Game On YES Network
Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced plans to participate in the YES Network’s coverage of the 2026 Spring Breakout prospect game, with the voice of the Patriots, Steven Cusumano, on the call.
Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced plans to participate in the YES Network’s coverage of the 2026 Spring Breakout prospect game, with the voice of the Patriots, Steven Cusumano, on the call.
The third annual Spring Breakout game will feature the Yankees’ top prospects on display against the Atlanta Brave’s top prospects, with the game taking place at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL on Saturday, March 21st (6:30 pm ET). The game will also be streamed live on The Gotham Sports App.
Cusumano, who is entering his fifth season with the Patriots, will be on the call with Joe Vasile, the voice of the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Yankees’ High-A affiliate.
“It’s an honor each season to be able to tell the stories of the next generation of Yankees and Major League stars as they come through Somerset,” Cusumano said. “The ability to share those stories in front of a widespread audience, under the direction of the YES Network’s extraordinarily talented team, is a privilege and an experience I look forward to learning from throughout.”
The current Yankees' Spring Breakout roster features 40 top prospects within the organization, including 14 former Patriots.
Beyond the Spring Breakout game, the Patriots look forward to continuing their relationship with the YES Network during the regular season, with several games to be televised on the network throughout the year.
