Erie SeaWolves Announce 2027 Home Game Dates & Opponents

ERIE, PA – The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, today released their 2027 game dates and opponents. Erie’s hometown team will open the 2027 season on Friday, April 2 versus the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Guardians) at 7 17 Credit Union Park. The SeaWolves’ 2027 home opener will be Tuesday, April 6 against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at UPMC Park.

The 2027 schedule includes 138 total games, with 69 home games at UPMC Park. Most series at UPMC Park will be six games except for a three-game set versus Akron after the MLB All-Star Break.

The SeaWolves will host the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Altoona Curve, for two series at UPMC Park (June 15-20 & August 17-22). Fans can see the future stars of the Cleveland Guardians when Akron comes to Erie for two series (April 20-25 & July 16-18). The SeaWolves will host back-to-back home series against the Double-A affiliates of the New York Yankees (Somerset Patriots; May 4-9) and Boston Red Sox (Portland Sea Dogs; May 11-16).

Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals): April 6-11 & August 3-8

Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Guardians): April 20-25 & July 16-18

Somerset Patriots (New York Yankees): May 4-9

Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox): May 11-16

Chesapeake Baysox (Baltimore Orioles): May 25-30 & July 20-25

Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates): June 15-20 & August 17-22

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (New York Mets): June 29-July 4

Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants): August 31-September 5

The SeaWolves continue their push for an Eastern League playoff spot this week against the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) at Dunkin’ Park. The SeaWolves have earned a spot in the Eastern League Championship Series each of the past four seasons. If the SeaWolves secure a 2026 playoff spot, they would host Game 1 of the Eastern League’s Southwest Division Series at UPMC Park on Tuesday, September 15.
