August 5, 2026 — EVERETT, Wash.: Seattle Mariners Director of Player Development Justin Toole announced Wednesday that Everett AquaSox players Korbyn Dickerson and Reid Easterly were named winners of Mariners Minor League Awards for their efforts made on the diamond during July 2026.
Dickerson, a 22-year-old outfielder from Louisville, Kentucky, was named Baserunner of the Month by going 9-for-11 in stolen base attempts between Everett and the High-A Inland Empire 66ers. With the AquaSox, the right-handed hitting Dickerson was perfect when attempting to swipe bags, going 6-for-6.
Dickerson’s speed is a key attribute among a well-rounded 2026 campaign that has seen him hit .275 in 88 games split between the 66ers and AquaSox. The Indiana University alum, who was drafted by the Mariners in the fifth round (No. 152 overall), has also racked up 15 doubles, two triples, 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, and 50 walks in his first full professional campaign.
Easterly, a 24-year-old native of Katy, Texas, earned Reliever of the Month accolades after dealing 15.2 innings with just one earned run allowed to his name. The left-hander’s earned run average stood at a low 0.57 as he collected 14 strikeouts and a 0.83 WHIP.
Originally acquired by the Mariners as a non-drafted free agent, Easterly has starred out of the bullpen in his first full professional season. The Duke alum currently holds a 5-1 record, pitching to a 2.86 earned run average across 50.1 innings thrown in 27 appearances. Easterly has struck out 58 as opposed to giving away just 10 free passes, and he has kept the baseball in the ballpark by limiting opposing batters to just three home runs all season.
