Marlowe Named High-A West July Player of the Month

Marlowe led the league in total bases and was second in RBIs, doubles and slugging percentage

EVERETT, Wash. – Outfielder Cade Marlowe was named the High-A West Player of the Month for his outstanding performance in July.

EVERETT, Wash. – Outfielder Cade Marlowe was named the High-A West Player of the Month for his outstanding performance in July.

He entered the first homestand of August leading the league in total bases (57) and second in RBIs (25), doubles (11) and slugging percentage (.582). Marlowe finished third in runs (21) and triples (two). He was fourth in home runs (six) and fifth in OPS (.930).

This marks the second time this season Marlowe’s performance has earned him Player of the Month accolades. He was named Low-A West’s Player of the Month in May while playing for the Modesto Nuts. In the month of May, he led Low-A West in batting average, hits, runs total bases, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS. He was second in RBIs and triples and fifth in home runs.

The Mariners selected Marlowe in the 20th round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
