Nine of the twelve programs will be returning to Fluor Field in 2015, including six in-state schools.  Representing the Palmetto State in this year's BB&T College Baseball Series are the Clemson Tigers, the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Furman Paladins, the North Greenville Crusaders, the Presbyterian Blue Hose and the USC-Upstate Spartans.

The three out-of-state programs who will make their return to Fluor Field this spring include the Michigan State Spartans, the Connecticut Huskies and the Xavier Musketeers.

Three more out-of-state programs will be making their Fluor Field debuts in 2015, including the Indiana Hoosiers, the Brevard Tornados and the Pfeiffer Falcons.

"Fluor Field has become a highly sought after venue for top NCAA baseball programs in recent years," commented Drive General Manager Eric Jarinko. "We are featuring several of the region's most exciting teams in 2015, our 10th at Fluor Field, and we'll be hosting some great schools from the Midwest and the Northeast as well. Baseball fans will have a great opportunity this spring to enjoy premier collegiate baseball in Downtown Greenville."

Tickets for all college games not involving South Carolina or Clemson will be $8. Tickets for games involving South Carolina or Clemson will be sold at regular tiered pricing, but tickets for the Reedy River Rivalry can only be purchased through the ticket offices of South Carolina and Clemson.  Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Fluor Field box office at (864) 240-4528, visiting the box office, or by clicking here

The BB&T College Baseball Series at Fluor Field will kick off the weekend of February 20th-22nd with the 6thannual First Pitch Invitational.  The opening weekend will see round-robin play between Furman, Presbyterian, Indiana and Xavier.  Game times for Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st will be 1 PM and 5 PM, and the action on Sunday the 22nd will take place at 11 AM and 3 PM.

"The Drive organization is proud to host all four institutions for the First Pitch Invitational as we kick off the college baseball season," said Drive Owner and President Craig Brown.  "This signature event is one which the community can rally around, and we are excited to host it at Fluor Field for the sixth straight year."

The following weekend brings the return of the Reedy River Rivalry to Fluor Field, as the Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks will renew one of the best rivalries in all of college baseball at 2:30 PM on Saturday, February 28th.  The game will be the fifth meeting between the national powerhouses in Downtown Greenville, with the Gamecocks holding a 3-1 record in the previous four contests, including a 10-3 victory last spring.

The last four contests between Clemson and South Carolina in Downtown Greenville have compiled record attendance numbers.  Last year's game saw 7,182 fans come through the gates, which marked the highest attendance for a game at Fluor Field.

Tickets for this always exciting installment of the Reedy River Rivalry can only be purchased through the ticketing departments of Clemson and South Carolina.

"Hosting the Reedy River Rivalry Game between Clemson and South Carolina is always a highlight of college baseball at Fluor Field," said Jarinko. "Both schools have established themselves among the best programs in the entire country, with South Carolina winning back-to-back national championships in 2010 and 2011 and Clemson earning four College World Series berths since 2000. They are also two outstanding institutions and we are excited to host them in Greenville once again in 2015."

Clemson returns to Fluor Field on Wednesday, March 11th at 7 PM to do battle with Michigan State, another program who is no stranger to Downtown Greenville.

The Spartans will be making their eighth consecutive appearance at Fluor Field in 2015.  Following the matchup with Clemson, they will be part of a round-robin weekend from Friday, March 13th-Sunday, March 15th with Furman, USC-Upstate and Connecticut.  Game times for Friday will be 1 PM and 5 PM, and both Saturday and Sunday will see games at 11 AM and 3 PM.

"We are thrilled to welcome Michigan State back to Fluor Field and Downtown Greenville," said Brown, a Michigan State alumnus. "In addition to being a wonderful institution, they boast a quality baseball program that has experienced a lot of recent success, including a Big Ten Championship season in 2011, an NCAA tournament berth in 2012 and numerous players getting drafted to the professional ranks."

"We are extremely excited about returning to Greenville and playing at Fluor Field in March," said Jake Boss, Michigan State's head coach.  "We greatly appreciate the hospitality of the people in Greenville, and the first-class manner in which they are treated by the Greenville Drive personnel. It is certainly a highlight on our schedule and something we look forward to continuing for years to come here at Michigan State."

On Wednesday, March 25th, the North Greenville Crusaders will make their first of two appearances at Fluor Field in 2015, as they take on the Brevard Tornados at 7 PM.  The Crusaders are led by first-year head coach Landon Powell, a former All-American at South Carolina who spent three seasons in the major leagues with the Oakland Athletics, and more recently, served as an assistant coach at Furman.

North Greenville returns to Fluor Field on Friday, April 3rd at 7 PM to face the Pfeiffer Falcons in a matchup between rivals in Conference Carolinas.

The final two college games of the spring in Downtown Greenville will feature the Furman Paladins squaring off against in-state powers South Carolina and Clemson.  The Paladins and Gamecocks will play on Tuesday, April 21st at 7 PM, while the Paladins and Tigers will face off on Tuesday, May 12th at 7 PM.

Furman's game with Clemson serves as part of the Drive Business Downtown doubleheader presented by Elliott David Decosimo, as that game follows the Greenville Drive's 2 PM matchup against the Hagerstown Suns.

"Fluor Field is a showcase facility," said Furman head coach Ron Smith. "Our players look forward to every opportunity we have to play there, as do our fans, who really enjoy the vibrant downtown atmosphere. It's as nice a baseball venue as any in the country, and is a tremendous asset to Greenville and our community.  We're thrilled to have the chance to play eight games there this spring."
