The nominees for the month of July are:
Carlos Asuaje, IF: Carlos earned a much-deserved promotion to Salem on July 19th, and he put up outstanding numbers for the month, including a .295 average, 14 runs, 18 hits, two homers, 17 RBI and a .574 slugging percentage.
Trey Ball, LHP: Ball had the best month of his young professional career in July, posting a 3.30 ERA in 6 starts totaling 30 innings. He allowed just 20 hits and 11 walks while striking out 21 batters and holding opponents to a .185 average.
Jacob Dahlstrand, RHP: Like Asuaje, Dahlstrand was promoted to Salem in July for his outstanding work with the Drive. Before he left in July, he went 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA in five appearances, including one start, while striking out 18 in 18 1/3 innings.
Franklin Guzman, OF: Guzman joined the Drive on July 11th and immediately established himself as an offensive threat, hitting .283 in 15 games with 15 hits, five doubles, a homer, six RBI and a .434 slugging percentage.
Wendell Rijo, IF: The 18-year old continued his impressive season with a powerful month of July at the plate, swatting seven doubles and four homers with a .543 slugging percentage while hitting .259 and posting a .351 on-base percentage.
Teddy Stankiewicz, RHP: In 4 starts on the mound in July, Stankiewicz remained the consistent, strike-throwing arm he's been all season long, going 1-1 with a 4.44 ERA and striking out 18 batters versus only 3 walks in 24 1/3 innings.
