BIG MOMENTS
- With the game tied 4-4, Brett Baty and Francisco Alvarez hit back-to-back solo home runs against Jersey Shore’s Mark Potter to take a 6-4 lead. Luke Ritter and Cody Bohanek also scored in the frame to cap the go-ahead four-run frame and make it 8-4 ‘Clones.
- Behind 1-0 in the bottom of the second, the Cyclones took the lead on back-to-back RBI doubles from Joe Genord and Jose Mena. The Cyclones broke a 2-2 tie in the following inning on a Jersey Shore error and Genord’s RBI single.
- Brooklyn starter Connor Grey turned in five innings of two-run ball, striking out six and walking one. He allowed three hits in his first start as a Mets minor leaguer.
