The San Clemente, Calif. native is a midseason All-Star for the second time in his career, as he was also selected to the Double-A Southern League All-Star Game in 2017.
Franco, 26, is batting .260 (73-for-281) with 16 doubles, one triple, 11 home runs, 38 runs scored and 49 RBIs in 76 games during his second season with Gwinnett. The Braves named him Gwinnett's Player of the Month for April after he batted .250 (22-for-88) with five doubles, four home runs and 18 RBIs in 22 games. A native of Bani, Dominican Republic, Franco is a midseason All-Star for the first time at any level.
Phillips, 23, is 4-4 with a 2.31 ERA (9 ER in 35.0 IP) and six saves (6-for-7) in 26 relief appearances during his second season with Gwinnett.
