LHP Paco Rodriguez Joins Isotopes

Left-handed pitcher Paco Rodriguez joined the Albuquerque Isotopes this afternoon, April 17, and lefty Daniel Moskos was placed on the disabled list with a left calf strain.

Rodriguez claims a 3.18 ERA in eight relief appearances with the Los Angeles Dodgers this season. He spent the entire 2013 season with Los Angeles, turning in a 2.32 ERA with 63 strikeouts against only 19 walks in 54.1 innings. This will be the first stop at Triple-A for Rodriguez as he jumped from Double-A Chattanooga to the Major Leagues in 2012.

Moskos appeared in four games with a 1-0 record this season. He owns a 4.15 ERA and has struck out four batters and walked only two in 4.1 innings pitched with the Isotopes.          

Albuquerque plays game three of its four-game set tonight against the El Paso Chihuahuas tonight at 6:35 p.m. MT.
