OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - Patrick Wisdom's RBI double in the top of the ninth inning broke a 1-1 tie, and Andrew Morales stranded the tying run on second base in the bottom of the ninth to preserve a 2-1 Memphis Redbirds (72-44) win over the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Dodgers) Thursday night in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The first-place Redbirds trailed 1-0 until the top of the fifth inning, when Edmundo Sosa homered to tie the game at a run apiece.

In the ninth, Rangel Ravelo singled, went to second on a Carson Kelly knock, and scored on Wisdom's two-bagger. Ravelo's hit extended his hitting streak to 14 games, and Lane Thomas moved his to all 10 games he has played with the Redbirds after going 1-for-4.

After giving up a first-inning run, Austin Warner held the Dodgers scoreless in his final 4.2 innings of work and finished his outing giving up just the one run on seven hits with four strikeouts. He did not issue a walk in 5.2 innings. Giovanny Gallegos, Brett Cecil, Dominic Leone, and Morales combined to finish the game and gave up just two hits in relief.

Redbirds hitters struck out 13 times in the game and did not draw a walk. Leone got his first win on his injury rehab assignment. Morales' save was his fifth of the year.

The Redbirds have three more games in Oklahoma City before returning to AutoZone Park on Monday to start a seven-game homestand. For more information on single-game tickets, visit
