OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - The Memphis Redbirds (22-14) lost the series finale at the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Dodgers) Friday night, 2-0, with the game played in 1:54 for the franchise's shortest nine-inning game since 2004.
The time of game was tied for the fourth-shortest in franchise history. Memphis has been shut out in three of its last eight games against the Dodgers, and the Redbirds went 3-5 on their eight-game road trip to Nashville and Oklahoma City.
Memphis mustered four hits in the game, and Oklahoma City's Justin DeFratus tossed a complete-game shutout on 89 pitches with no walks.
The Redbirds brought the go-ahead run to the plate with two outs in the top of the ninth inning, after Schrock doubled and
Herget fanned seven in 6.2 innings of work, and he allowed one run on seven hits.
