Jace Bohrofen joins Chris Jared as our latest guest on S2 of Cat Chat! In this week's episode, Jace runs through what sports was like for him growing up in Oklahoma City, the elevated bar of SEC baseball, and how he keeps himself grounded through the season.
After beginning his college ball days in Norman with the Sooners, Jace transferred to Arkansas and finished out 2023 as one of the Hogs' three captains before Toronto drafted him in the 6th round that summer.
After a full season in High-A Vancouver in 2024, Bohrofen broke camp with Double-A New Hampshire in 2025. Jace knocked four home runs in NH's first six-game homestand of the season and became the team's first player to earn league honors in 2025.
After an absolutely dominant performance at the plate this past homestand, Jace Bohrofen (TOR No. 24, MLB Pipeline) was named your Eastern League player of the week! 🚨

Bohrofen threatened his power in bunches in 2025, beginning with four home runs to earn Player of the Week honors in April. Jace homered in back-to-back games twice from May 17 through June 3 before suffering an injury about a week before the 2025 All-Star break. Bohrofen's season was delayed until the end of August and returned to New Hampshire to finish the season on September 2.
