Wet and wild: Hawks rained out Wednesday

The RedHawks' schedule game Wednesday afternoon was postponed by rain and wet field conditions at Greer Stadium in Nashville. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. during the RedHawks' other visit to Nashville.

The teams will conclude a rain-shortened, three-game series Thursday with a single game starting at 7 p.m. CDT.

Right-hander Mike Wood, just optioned from Texas, will start for Oklahoma, to be followed by Doug Mathis. Tim Dillard will pitch for the Sounds.
