Four Family-Friendly Events Upcoming At Blue Wahoos Stadium

Blue Wahoos Stadium will host a quartet of family-friendly events on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in downtown Pensacola.
On Saturday, June 11, the Blue Wahoos will host Pitch, Hit & Run from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM as part of Major League Baseball’s PLAY BALL Weekend. The three-part challenge is free for youth baseball and softball players 14 and under and athletes can register to compete at BlueWahoos.com. The first 200 registrants will receive a bat and ball set courtesy of Franklin and all competitors will receive free MLB.TV and MiLB.TV subscriptions! Top scoring athletes will be invited to compete in a regional competition at a later date.

Following the Pitch, Hit & Run competition, the Blue Wahoos will host a Community Movie Night at the ballpark on Saturday evening with a showing of Sing 2 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are just $5, available now at BlueWahoos.com. Guests are welcome to bring a blanket and sit on the field at Blue Wahoos Stadium or enjoy the movie from the stadium’s seats. Concessions will be open serving popcorn, soda, and ballpark favorites.
The stadium’s popular Seventh Inning Stretch Ballpark Yoga returns on Sunday, June 12 at 9:00 AM. For $12, guests can enjoy a relaxing morning yoga workout in centerfield at Blue Wahoos Stadium with expert instruction led by Disko Lemonade Yoga Studio. Tickets are available now at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Guests are encouraged to bring a yoga mat or blanket to work out on.
On Monday, the ballpark will host week two of the Blue Wahoos Kickball League with 12 kickball games taking place on the field between 6:00 and 9:00 PM. Kickball games are free to attend and watch, and beer and other drinks are available for purchase for spectators.
After the busy weekend at the ballpark, the Blue Wahoos will return to Pensacola on Tuesday, June 14 to begin a six-game series against the Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Games will be held Tuesday-Friday evening at 6:35 PM, Saturday at 6:05 PM, and Sunday at 4:05 PM. Tickets and theme night information is available at BlueWahoos.com
