MOOSIC, Pa. (April 20, 2018) - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders fell at the hands of the Toledo Mud Hens 3-0 on Friday night at PNC Field.

In the top of the third Toledo broke through with a run off of Daniel Camarena. Pete Kozma led off the frame with a hustle double to left field and scored on a two-out double by Dawel Lugo. Camarena escaped further trouble in the frame by stranding the bases loaded.
Toledo loaded the bases with no outs after a RailRiders error in the top of the fourth, but Camarena (0-1) limited the damage to just a single run. Mikie Mahtook brought home a run with an RBI groundout, but a strikeout and a soft lineout ended the threat. The southpaw got the loss for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, tossing 5.0 innings, allowing the two runs on eight hits, walking one and striking out two.
Toledo expanded its lead to 3-0 in the top of the sixth when they again loaded the bases with no outs against J.P. Feyereisen. Jim Adduci hit into a double play for the first two outs on the inning, but Grayson Greiner scored on the play to pad the Mud Hens advantage.
Feyereisen settled down and was stellar for the remainder of his three-inning outing. He retired the final eight batters he faced, including two strikeouts.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was held to three hits on the game by Toledo pitching, with the Mud Hens bullpen combining to retire nine of the last 10 batters of the game.
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-3 with a single and a walk, while Ryan McBroom and Abiatal Avelino also collected singles. The base hit for Avelino extended his on-base streak to 10; the longest by any Scranton/Wilkes-Barre player this year.
Artie Lewicki (2-1) got the win for the Mud Hens, lasting six shutout innings. Louis Coleman set the RailRiders down in the ninth to earn his third save of the season.
