Saturday's Game Sold Out

Tickets are Available for Sunday's Afternoon Affair
July 5, 2013

Moosic, Pa. - A large crowd was already in the offing. Then came the announcement that Derek Jeter would play. Now, Saturday's 7:05 p.m. contest for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) at PNC Field is completely sold out. However, tickets remain for the RailRiders' 1:05 p.m. affair against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies) on Sunday afternoon.

The RailRiders are in the early stage of a season-long nine-game homestand with games every day through Friday, July 12. Two of the games will be played in the afternoon with Sunday's 1:05 p.m. start and Tuesday's 12:05 p.m. contest.

While Saturday's game is sold out, fans can still learn of Jeter's exploits. It will be broadcast live locally on My Network TV with the Voice of the RailRiders John Sadak and FOX56 sports director Bob Ide on the call. Andrew Kappes will have the radio call on NEPA Sports Radio - The GAME, NEPA's largest sports radio network: 100.7 FM, 1340 WYCK-AM, 1400 WICK-AM, 1440 WCDL-AM and 106.7 FM.

With no upper deck at PNC Field anymore, every seat in the ballpark provides the supreme views and intimacy that make minor league baseball so special at incredibly affordable prices.
