Rancho Cucamonga, CA — The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are proud to announce that longtime team broadcaster Mike Lindskog has been named General Manager for the 2026 season.

Lindskog brings 16 years of experience with the organization into his new role, joining the Quakes in 2010 (the last affiliation year of the Los Angeles Angels). He has remained in the Quakes organization in various capacities but has always been a familiar and beloved voice to Quakes fans for over a decade.

Lindskog’s first year in baseball was in 1993 with his hometown Spokane Indians of the Northwest League. He’s also worked for the High Desert Mavericks (formerly of the Cal League), the El Paso Diablos and the Springfield Cardinals.

Lindskog has been a huge part of the Quakes’ identity, serving as the team’s broadcaster and playing a key role in connecting generations of fans to the game. His transition into the General Manager position reflects both his commitment to the organization and a strong connection to the community, making him a natural fit to lead the club into its next chapter. Lindskog takes over for Abbie Lawson, who left the club for personal reasons.

“To move into the General Manager’s role is something I never thought possible. It’s an incredible opportunity to lead great people and help strengthen the presence of the Quakes in this wonderful community that means so much to me and my family”, said Lindskog. “I’ve been here for 16 years and to take on this challenge is unbelievable, but I know that it will be so fulfilling with the help and support of my wife and son and the people around me that are as committed to this as I am. Can’t wait to see the fans on Thursday for Opening Day. Let’s freaking go!”

“I’ve had the privilege of knowing Mike for more than 15 years, and there’s no one more authentic or committed to this organization and community,” said Ben Taylor, West Region Vice President, Diamond Baseball Holdings. “He understands what makes the Quakes special because he’s helped shape it for nearly two decades. This is a well-earned opportunity, and I’m confident he’ll lead the club with the same passion, integrity and connection that have defined his career.”

The Quakes look forward to the 2026 season under Lindskog’s leadership, continuing their mission to deliver family-friendly entertainment and championship-caliber baseball. The Quakes kick-off their season with their Opening Day Thursday April 2nd.
