The Giants blew it open with six in the third, taking a commanding 9-0 lead.

Rancho’s runs came in the fourth and seventh, respectively. Yeiner Fernandez tripled home a run and then scored on an error in the fourth, making it 9-2. Trailing 12-2 in the seventh, Yunior Garcia doubled home a pair off eventual winner Esmerlin Vinicio (4-0), capping their scoring at 12-4.

The Giants piled on, scoring six in the eighth and forcing the Quakes to use infielder Kenneth Betancourt to finish the game.
