Fightin Phils to host five Bark in the Park Nights

Fans can bring their dogs to America's Classic Ballpark on five nights

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils have announced there will be five Bark in the Park nights this upcoming season courtesy of Humane Pennsylvania. Fans are permitted to bring their dogs to FirstEnergy Stadium on these select games:

  • Friday, April 6th at 7:05 p.m. - "Dogs Opening Night"
  • Sunday, May 13th at 2:05 p.m.
  • Monday, June 25th at 7:05 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 1st at 5:05 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 15th at 7:05 p.m.

Fans can purchase a special $5 ticket that will permit their dog to enter the ballpark.


Friday, April 6th when the Fightin Phils host the Erie SeaWolves, will be Dogs Opening Night. Dogs can take part in the atmosphere of their Opening Night by being permitted into America's Classic Ballpark to enjoy a night of baseball and fun. The first 2,000 adults will receive a Rhys Hoskins T-Shirt with his photo on the front and his name and number on the back. There will be a Beer Tasting Festival at the Deck with Fightins Craft Beer Partners. It will be your dog's first chance to greet the 2018 Fightin Phils!


The second Bark in the Park night will be on Sunday, May 13th when the Fightin Phils play the Altoona Curve at 2:05 p.m. The first 2,000 women will receive a Fightins Mother's Day "SuperMom" T-Shirt. There will be Superhero appearances and a photo opportunity of your SuperMom and kids with the superheroes.


Monday, June 25th at 7:05 p.m. will be the third Bark in the Park Night. The Fightin Phils will welcome back the Erie SeaWolves on MEGA BEER NIGHT and also give out a 32oz MEGA Cup to the first 2,000 adults featuring Fighitns Alumni: Rhys Hoskins, Nick Williams, Aaron Altherr, Andrew Knapp and Scott Kingery.


The fourth Bark in the Park night will be on Sunday, July 1st when the Fightin Phils host the Hartford Yard Goats at 5:05 p.m. The first 2,000 kids will receive a "Sandlot Style" Extended-Bill Hat. Dogs will be allowed everywhere, including on the field to watch "The Sandlot" after the game. There will also be an appearance by Paw Patrol plus a photo session for all kids at 3:30 p.m.


Wednesday, August 15th at 7:05 p.m. will be the final Bark in the Park night when the Fightin Phils will play the Hartford Yard Goats. It's also another MEGA BEER NIGHT as the first 2,000 fans will receive a 32oz MEGA Cup featuring Fightins Alumni: Aaron Nola, Hector Neris, Ben Lively, Jake Thompson and Nick Pivetta.
