Fightins Job Fair, Ticketpalooza to Take Place February 23rd

The Reading Fightin Phils are hiring gameday employees & interns for the 2019 season at the team's annual job fair, Ticketpalooza, and National Anthem tryouts will take place on Saturday, February 23rd at FirstEnergy Stadium. Individual game tickets will also go on sale beginning at 9 a.m. on February 23rd. The Reading Fightin Phils are hiring gameday employees & interns for the 2019 season at the team's annual job fair, Ticketpalooza, and National Anthem tryouts will take place on Saturday, February 23rd at FirstEnergy Stadium. 
Individual game tickets will also go on sale beginning at 9 a.m. on February 23rd. Fans will be able to purchase tickets to any 2019 Fightin Phils home game at the Weidenhammer Ticket Office at FirstEnergy Stadium, online at fightins.com, or over the phone by calling or texting 610-370-BALL.
Ticketpalooza will be held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., where season ticket holders and mini-plan holders can pick up their plans or orders for the 2019 season.
The Fightin Phils job fair will take place from 9-11 a.m. The Fightins are seeking part-time employees in various positions, including concession workers, merchandise store assistants, ushers, ticket takers, waiters/waitresses, groundscrew assistants, mascot performers, security, clean team, Phunland kids zone, Diamond Girls, and lifeguards.
Prospective employees should be willing and able to work weeknights and weekends from April through early September. Age requirements and compensation will vary by position.
Job seekers are encouraged to fill out an application in advance. Applications can be found online here, and will also be available at the job fair on February 23rd. Prospective employees should enter the job fair through the Fightins Team Store on the day of the event.
In addition to game staff employees the Fightin Phils will conduct interviews with prospective interns. The Reading Fightin Phils Internship is a great learning experience. Upperclassman and recent college graduates have the opportunity to get directly involved and gain hands on experience in various aspects of Minor League Baseball. The associates work directly with the front office staff to get an overview of all of the different positions. The Fightin Phils internship is a paid position. Full time associates may work approximately 25-40 a week during the offseason and 40-80 hours a week during the season.  Fightin Phils are looking for enthusiastic and eager individuals to join the Fightin Phils front office staff as an intern. National anthem tryouts will also be held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., with individual singers and performing groups welcome to audition to fill any available dates during the 2019 season. Registration will take place at the Fightins Team Store, with tryouts held on the Good Life Advisors Stage in Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza.
In conjunction with these events, brand new Fightin Phils merchandise will be available for purchase, including the throwback R-Phils "R-Train" hat. The Fightins team store will be open from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
