The Reading Fightin Phils will celebrate former Reading High School basketball star Lonnie Walker IV on Friday, July 19th with a Lonnie Walker "I'm Just a Kid from Reading Hometown Hero" Bobblehead giveaway, thanks to Savage 61 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM.
The first 2,000 kids in attendance at FirstEnergy stadium will receive a Lonnie Walker bobblehead, and all fans will have a chance to meet Walker, with free autograph sessions available.
After starring at Reading High School, Walker became a first round draft pick of the San Antonio Spurs in 2018, when he was selected 18th overall out of the University of Miami. He made his NBA debut on January 3rd.
July 19th is also a Savage 61 Fiesta Friday, presented by Don Julio Tequila, where the Fightins will be wearing special Los Peleadores Latino tribute jerseys. The night will feature Happy Hour with $1 off beer and a pregame concert, thanks to Ron Procopio Guitars, and a post-game concert thanks to St. Boniface Craft Brewing.
