Salute to Slap Shot Night July 8

Be sure to foil up as we celebrate old-time hockey on Saturday, July 8 with our Salute to Slap Shot Night at Frontier Field presented by Airport Transmission, Bathtub Billy's Restaurant & Sports Bar, Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex and Webster Eye Care Associates! All three Hanson Brothers will be in attendance as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of this classic movie.
The Hanson Brothers will be signing FREE autographs from 6-6:45 pm and again from 7:15-8 pm. They'll also 'shoot' first pitches and take part in a "Post-Game Live" interview on-field talking about the film with featured clips on the video board. All of our in-game promotions that evening will have an "old-time" hockey feel.

JERSEYS: The Red Wings will don these specialty jerseys on July 8. All jerseys will be signed by the Hanson Brothers and auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting the Red Wings Community Foundation.

GLASSES GIVEAWAY: The first 1,500 fans will receive these one-of-a-kind replica, taped-up glasses...

FIREWORKS: The post-game fireworks show presented by ESL Federal Credit Union will feature the hit songs from 1977 (the same year the movie debuted).
