Shuckers Release Full Promotional Schedule

Themed jerseys, celebrity appearances and premium giveaways are all part of a packed 2018 promotional schedule for the Biloxi Shuckers. Over the Shuckers 70 regular-season home games, fans will be treated to a variety of entertainment acts, community nights and a total of 12 fireworks shows.
"As we enter our fourth season on the Gulf Coast, we wanted to heighten the experience at games for our fans," said Shuckers General Manager Hunter Reed. "When we pair our full promotional schedule with our nightly specials, we feel certain Shuckers games will create memories for our fans along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the surrounding region that they just cannot get anywhere else."

Some of the highlights of this year's promotional schedule include:
Wednesday, April 11, at 6:35 pm: Opening Day Postgame Fireworks and Magnet Schedule Giveaway - The Shuckers kick off their fourth season at MGM Park with Opening Day festivities, postgame fireworks and a 2018 magnet schedule giveaway.
Saturday, April 14, at 6:35 pm: Biloxi Dodgers Shirsey Giveaway and Negro League/Biloxi Dodgers Tribute - Players will wear special Negro League jerseys, and fans will receive Biloxi Dodgers shirseys as they enter the gate (while supplies last).
Saturday, April 21, at 6:35 pm: Autos in the Outfield and Chauncey Leopardi Appearance (Squints from 'The Sandlot') - The Shuckers will host an afternoon car show with additional pregame festivities. "Best in Show" will be given out during the game on an auto-themed night. Plus, Chauncey Leopardi, known for his portrayal of Squints in 'The Sandlot,' will be at MGM Park for a meet and greet to celebrate the 25-year anniversary of the classic baseball film.
Sunday, April 22, and Sunday, August 19: Faith & Family Nights - We recognize faith and family during a pair of Sunday games with pregame guest testimonials. As with all Sunday home games, select players will be available for pregame autographs and families play catch on the field after the game.
Saturday, May 5, at 6:35 pm: Team Photo Giveaway presented by Knight Abbey - The Shuckers will be giving away team photos of the 2018 squad as fans come through the gates (while supplies last).
Saturday, May 12, at 6:35 pm: Peppa Pig Appearance - Everyone's favorite adventurous pig makes a special appearance at MGM Park on another Super Saturday!
Saturday, May 19, at 6:35 pm: Mississippi Sea Wolves Tribute Night and Jersey Auction - Honoring the 20-year anniversary of the Mississippi Sea Wolves 1998-99 Kelly Cup season, Shuckers players will wear special hockey-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.
Friday, June 1, at 6:35 pm: Schooner the Seagull Birthday and Postgame Fireworks - Celebrate the Shuckers mascot on his birthday with postgame fireworks to cap the party!
Saturday, June 2, at 6:35 pm: Military Appreciation Night with Military-Themed Shuckers Hat Giveaway presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union - To honor members of the military, past and present, discounted tickets will be available with a valid military ID. Fans will receive military-themed Biloxi Shuckers hats as they come through the gates (while supplies last).
Friday, June 15, at 6:35 pm: Saints Hall of Fame Night and Postgame Fireworks - Fans will have a chance to meet former New Orleans Saints players at the ballpark with fireworks after the game.
Saturday, June 16, at 6:35 pm: One Coast Night with Jersey Auction and Beach Tote Bag Giveaway presented by Beau Rivage - The Shuckers celebrate our relationship with the Gulf Coast with special "One Coast" jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Fans will receive a beach tote bag courtesy of Beau Rivage as they enter the park (while supplies last).
Saturday, June 30, at 6:35 pm: Fur Circus Performance and Parrot Head Night with Matt Hoggatt Pregame Performance - What would Jimmy Buffett do at a Shuckers game? We do our best to create an atmosphere fit for "Bubba" on Parrot Head Night, featuring the entertainment of the Fur Circus.
Tuesday, July 3, at 6:35 pm: Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Merit Health Biloxi - Start the Independence Day celebration early with the Shuckers, including postgame fireworks set to patriotic music.
Friday, July 20, at 6:35 pm: Christmas in July and Postgame Fireworks - We'll be dreaming of a white Christmas as the Shuckers beat the heat with postgame fireworks set to yuletide music.
Saturday, July 21, at 6:35 pm: Mystery Giveaway presented by Beau Rivage - Fans will receive a mystery giveaway as they enter the ballpark (while supplies last).
Saturday, August 4, at 6:35 pm: Brandon Woodruff Bobblehead Giveaway presented by ACE Data Storage - To commemorate the one-year anniversary of Brandon Woodruff's Major League pitching debut, fans will receive a bobblehead of the former Shucker as they enter the gates (while supplies last).
Saturday, August 18, at 6:35 pm: Halfway to Mardi Gras Night with Jersey Auction and Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act Performance - A tradition at MGM Park, the Shuckers throw a Mardi Gras party in the summer to mark the halfway point to Fat Tuesday. Special Mardi Gras jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, and Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act will be on hand to entertain fans throughout the evening.
Saturday, September 1, at 6:35 pm: Shucktoberfest and Stein Giveaway - The Shuckers season doesn't quite stretch into Oktoberfest, so we get the festivities started early with a stein giveaway as fans enter the ballpark (while supplies last).
2018 Daily Promotions:
Doggone Monday: Fans can bring their dog to the ballpark every Monday home game with the purchase of a berm ticket. Pooch Passes are available and include a berm ticket for every Monday home game, a Shuckers-themed dog bowl and leash. Check for the $5 Schooner's Special, which includes a hot dog, chips and soda.
Brew Crew Tuesday presented by Miller Lite: Revel in the Shuckers affiliation with the Milwaukee Brewers with $3 Miller Lite, $4 brats and the Brewers Snack Attack Special, which includes fried green tomatoes, onion rings, French fries and cheese curds. Fans can win Brewers prizes by checking the Shuckers social media for trivia.
All-You-Can-Eat Wednesday: With the purchase of an all-you-can-eat $20 ticket, fans gain access to the buffet located in the Community Bank Terrace.
Double Play Thursday presented by Yuengling, Coca-Cola, Polk's Meat Products and Kicker 108: "The Double Play" comes with a reserved level ticket and two drink vouchers for $10. Additionally, enjoy $2 Yuengling drafts, $2 fountain sodas, $3 draft beer specials and $2 hot dogs.
Fireworks Friday: Fireworks set to different music after every Friday home game.
Super Saturday: Guest appearances, giveaways and themed-jerseys will be part of the most exciting night at the ballpark.
Military Salute Sunday and Family Funday presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union: Discounted tickets are offered for all military personnel who have served or are currently serving with a valid ID, and Shuckers players will wear military jerseys. Family Funday features four packs that include four reserved tickets and four Schooner's special vouchers, which are redeemable for a hot dog, chips and soda, for just $60. Select players are available for pregame autographs and every Sunday concludes with postgame catch on the field.  
The full promotional schedule is available HERE.  Single game tickets go on sale on March 7 at 10 am. Tickets can be purchased at the Shuckers Box Office located on the north side of MGM Park from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Opening Day for the 2018 season is Thursday, April 5, at Montgomery. The Shuckers will open the team's fourth season at MGM Park on Wednesday, April 11, at 6:35 pm against the Mississippi Braves.
