1,000 Pizza Giveaway Returns Sunday, August 14

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced the return of the 1,000 Pizza Giveaway for the Sunday, August 14 game at TD Bank Ballpark. The Patriots take on the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) at 5:05 pm.

The first 1,000 adults that enter the ballpark gates that day will receive an envelope with a certificate for a free large plain pizza at a random participating pizzeria.

Dozens of participating restaurants from all over Somerset, Middlesex, and Hunterdon counties

The motivation behind the promotion is to support small businesses and give families a reason to explore areas they might not be familiar with.

Fans receiving certificates are encouraged to make a trip out of it, finding other small businesses like ice cream shops to support in the neighborhood of their pizzeria.
