Bridgewater, New Jersey – Mere hours before the Yankees revealed the Somerset Break Camp roster on Monday afternoon, the Patriots in conjunction with HomePlate Catering & Hospitality, dropped the curtain on a heavy hitting lineup of new concession offerings that fans will have the opportunity to indulge on at TD Bank Ballpark this season beginning on Friday night when the club welcomes the visiting Portland Sea Dogs to town for the first action of the year.

Baseball and food are a paired tradition that dates back to the inception of the game and it’s an aspect of the ballpark experience that has certainly leveled up and evolved as much as the game on the field has over generations. There will always be a heavy sense of nostalgia when grabbing a classic hot dog, or a bag of peanuts and Cracker Jack while taking in a game, but the vast array of food and beverage options now available to fans on a given night has transformed a stadium visit into a true culinary experience.

The Patriots have won more ball games than any team in the Eastern League since joining the affiliated ranks of MiLB back in 2021. While the team has done plenty of winning on the field, the organization has distinguished themselves as an innovator when it comes to ballpark fare and fan experiences and the 2026 bites stepping up to the plate are no exception.

Several members of the media along with invited guests of the team were on hand at TD Bank Ballpark on Monday to sample some of those new food items ahead of their debut at the concession stands on Friday evening. I went into this event hungry, and I certainly got my fill of sweet and savory and all that lands in between.

If we were constructing the food showcase into a batting lineup, the new Jumbo Stuffed Tater Tots would certainly be a middle of the order contributor. A stocky golden crispy potato keg stuffed with bacon, cheddar and chives and served with ranch dressing for dipping….it is literally every single good thing all compiled into one.

Joining the tots in this stacked snacking order are the new Fried Mac & Cheese Balls. More than half of America reportedly eats Mac & Cheese weekly and Patriots fans will have the opportunity to get their fill of it this season at the ballpark in an incredibly unique way. The ball is golden and crispy on the outside but the macaroni and cheese within is soft and creamy and comes packed with flavor – highly recommend a dip in the side of zesty marinara sauce that comes along with this one.

The Patriots have an alternate identity that literally revolves around food when they play as the Jersey Diners. This Garden State staple will be properly represented once again with the return of the Jersey Diner burger to the ballpark this season. This behemoth consists of two beef burger patties, yellow American cheese and of course slices of Case’s pork roll sandwiched between two golden waffle buns. Come hungry and leave happy with this one.

Some fans prefer to grab their food and sit in their seat and indulge for a majority of the game, while others prefer to snack and roam about the ballpark to enjoy all that the beautiful grounds have to offer. For the move-about bunch, the new Walking Taco may be the item of choice for you this season. A convenient twist to classic nachos that you are forced to eat with your hands, the Walking Taco presents you with a choice of Fritos or Doritos in a generously large bag that is then filled with savory chili, cheese, salsa, and jalapenos that you can conveniently eat with a fork.

Mama Dees Empanadas has become a go-to spot in central Jersey for the authentic and vibrant Caribbean flavors that they pump out of their cozy restaurant at 494 Washington Road in Parlin. This season fans will be able to watch Yankees stars of tomorrow while being able to chow down on Mama Dees signature empanadas that will regularly feature a chicken or cheese option. I opted to try the chicken and ended up going back for seconds during sampling – the outside shell is golden crispy and the shredded chicken inside was incredibly tender and fresh and uniquely seasoned to perfection.

Mozzarella Cucina is back by popular demand this season and they are bringing some new authentic Mexican options to ballpark for 2026. You’ll have the option to create your own taco bowl with all of the traditional fixings or feast on a hearty portion of Al Pastor Corn Arepa. I tried the latter on Monday and walked away wishing I had room for seconds. The golden grilled corn arepa is stuffed with Al Pastor marinated pork and melted cheese and finished with freshly diced pineapple. Mozzarella Cucina is also offering fresh Mexican Street Corn that is slathered in lime chipotle mayonnaise and finished with fresh Romano cheese. You’ll be able to wash down those decadent offerings with freshly squeezed lemonade. While their stand at the park highlights just a few of their signature dishes, you can visit their restaurant at 40 Jersey Avenue, Unit B in New Brunswick for a full menu of both Mexican and Italian specialties.

A new healthier option coming to the ballpark this season is the new and improved grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken breast will be served on a whole wheat bun and topped with lettuce, tomato and low-fat Italian dressing and comes with a side of Baked Lays potato chips.

Nothing screams baseball on a warm summer night like ice cream under the lights. Coming to TD Ballpark this season from right down the street at 500 North Avenue in Dunellen is Uncle Louie G’s. They are pulling out all of the stops to make sure no sweet tooth goes unfulfilled with a wide array of unique treats. To be completely transparent in my reporting, I actually tried the Donut Driftwich before I ate any actual food on Monday – I didn’t spoil my dinner, I promise. This soon to be fan favorite is your choice of ice cream sandwiched between two donuts. Uncle Louie G's is also bringing a few other fun treats to the yard like the Waffle Pop Wonder which features a waffle on a stick with ice cream and the Scoop & Snack provides you with mini pancakes and ice cream.

Two Field’s Bakery is back again this season, and they are offering a delicious chocolate mouse parfait that offers a great treat that is also gluten free and allergy friendly.

For the 21+ and over crowd, there is an impressive new lineup of canned locally brewed beers to coincide with each of the Patriots’ alternate identities this season. Flounder Brewing in Hillsborough has crafted Joe’s Brew which is a coffee infused blonde ale that pays homage to the Jersey Diners. Sunken Silo Brew Works in Lebanon has created Fox Mexican Lager to pair with the Zoros and 250 American Pale ale in tribute to the teams new Semiquincentennials moniker.

With a new chapter of Patriots baseball on the horizon and a roster full of bright stars of tomorrow, your appetite might just walk away as the biggest winner at TD Bank Ballpark this season.
