Opening Day Rescheduled To Friday, April 7
Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, will now kick off the 2023 season at TD Bank Ballpark with Opening Day on Friday, April 7. The Patriots take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at 6:35 pm.

Opening Day 2023 begins the Patriots 25th Season Anniversary at TD Bank Ballpark and Somerset’s defense of the 2022 Eastern League Championship.
There will be a pre-game ceremony to honor the championship that will feature recognitions, videos and the raising of the 2022 Eastern League Championship Banner. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy all the festivities, which are expected to begin at approximately 6:00 pm.
After the conclusion of the game, there will be a postgame fireworks show presented by Rancho La Gloria. The first 2,500 fans in attendance will also receive a 2023 magnetic schedule.
