NASCAR Drivers Sage Karam and Joe Graf Jr. to Appear on Racing Night in Somerset

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced that NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers Sage Karam and Joe Graf Jr. will appear for the team's Thursday, May 2nd game at TD Bank Ballpark as part of Racing Night. The Patriots take on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) at 6:35 p.m.

Karam, driver of the Sam Hunt Racing No. 26 Toyota Camry will be joined by fellow NASCAR XFINITY Series competitor Joe Graf Jr., driver of the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry. They will each throw out a ceremonial first pitches ahead of game, as well as sign autographs and meet fans on the main concourse. Karam is local to Nazareth, Pennsylvania--an hour west of TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater. Graf Jr. is a Garden State native, hailing from Mahwah, New Jersey.

The newly added Racing Night will also include a visit from Pocono Raceway's 2024 pace car, several other show car appearances from short track racers who are local to the community, as well as racing related giveaways and promotions throughout the night.
