Bridgewater, New Jersey – The New York Yankees have promoted RHP Will Warren to their Double-A affiliate, the Somerset Patriots.
“It’s a dream come true. You work your behind off to get called up and when the time comes, all that hard work that you put in has paid off,” said Warren. “I’m just ready to get up there, meet up with the guys, and keep this thing rolling.”

Since his professional debut on April 10 with High-A Hudson Valley, Warren has a 2-3 record, 3.60 ERA and 42 strikeouts over 35 innings pitched in eight games started.
He earned his first win on April 21 versus the Brooklyn Cyclones when he allowed a run and struck out a career-high nine batters in five innings pitched.
The Brandon, Mississippi native was the Yankees eighth round pick in the 2021draft out of Southeastern Louisiana.
