RHP Clarke Schmidt (1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K) made his fourth appearance of his MLB rehab assignment between Somerset and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Schmidt tossed a scoreless seventh inning in his second relief appearance of his rehab assignment. Across eight rehab outings with Somerset dating back to 2021, Schmidt has posted a 3.04 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and .184 BAA with 33 K to 4 BB in 23.2 IP.
