TD Bank Ballpark To Be COVID-19 Vaccination Site

Bridgewater, New Jersey - The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have teamed up with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, to administer COVID-19 vaccines at TD Bank Ballpark on Wednesday, June 16th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Everyone that gets vaccinated at the ballpark will also be given a free ticket to the game that evening against the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) scheduled for 7:05 pm.

The vaccine is available to the community for citizens 12 and older, with anyone under the age of 18 needing a parent or guardian present.

RWJUH Somerset will be administering the Pfizer vaccine at the event. Participants will receive their second dose at TD Bank Ballpark on Wednesday, July 7th, and also receive a free ticket to that evening’s game against the Erie Seawolves (Detroit Tigers) scheduled for 7:05 pm.

“The COVID-19 vaccine has proven to be safe and effective in preventing the spread of the virus,” said Tony Cava, president and CEO, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. “We encourage everyone age 12 and older who has not yet been vaccinated to do so as soon as possible. We are proud to partner with the Somerset Patriots to offer their fans the opportunity to get vaccinated while also enjoying a night at the ballpark.”

Register for the vaccine at https://www.rwjbh.org/covid19vaccine and wait for your confirmation email. When received, select “Somerset Patriots” as your preferred location.
