Todd Frazier Will Appear At 5/28 Game

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced that former Yankees, Mets and Rutgers star Todd Frazier will appear at the Tuesday, May 28 game at TD Bank Ballpark presented by NRZ Entertainment. The Patriots take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at 6:05 pm.
The Toms River native affectionately known as “The Toddfather,” will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and then meet and sign autographs for fans on the main concourse during the game. Autographs will be $30 and limited to one item per game ticket holder to allow for as many people as possible to participate in the signing.
Originally drafted by the Cincinnati Reds with the 34th overall pick of the 2007 MLB Draft, Frazier had an 11-year MLB career with the Reds, Chicago White Sox, Yankees, Texas Rangers, Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates from 2011-2021.
For his MLB career, the two-time All-Star (2014, 2015) hit .241 with 1,059 hits, 212 doubles, 15 triples, 218 home runs and 640 RBI in 1,244 games.
Before making the majors, Frazier was already a New Jersey superstar, having won the 1998 Little League World Series with Toms River East American Little League All-Star Team and then starring at Rutgers University. He was named the 2007 Big East Player of the Year, posting a .377 batting average, .502 on-base percentage and a .757 slugging percentage. He is among the university’s career leaders in just about every offensive category and became one of three Rutgers players picked in the 1st round of the MLB Draft.
