Roache, 26, put forth one of the best single-week run-producing outputs in the minors this season hitting .379 (11-29) with six home runs and 15 RBIs in seven games. He led the league in runs (10), total bases (29), home runs, RBIs, slugging (1.000) and OPS (1.438) and was tied for second in hits (11), helping Springfield go 5-2 on the week.
The Ypsilanti, Michigan native has hit safely in 15 of 16 games and has reached base in 24 of his last 25 games since April 7. He's hitting .292 with 10 home runs, three doubles, two triples, 25 runs and 25 RBIs in 28 games with a .989 OPS. Roache is currently leading the Texas League in home runs, is second in runs, third in slugging, tied for third with teammate John Nogowski in RBIs and fourth in OPS.
The outfielder was selected by Milwaukee in the first round of the 2012 June Draft out of Georgia Southern. St. Louis acquired Roache on January 31, 2018, signing him as a Minor League free agent.
