How to get your Syracuse Salt Potatoes gear: In-store or Online

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs announced this week that they will transform into the Syracuse Salt Potatoes for one game this season on Saturday, August 5th. Since the announcement, Salt Potatoes merchandise has been on sale for fans to purchase, both at the Whistlestop Souvenir Store or online. Fans from over 30 states have ordered Salt Potatoes merchandise so far and orders have broken merchandise records for the Chiefs.
Salt Potatoes merchandise includes fitted hats, stretch fit hats, adjustable hats, men's t-shirts, ladies t-shirts, and youth t-shirts. All options are available both in-store and online. Additional styles and merchandise will be available soon. Due to the high demand, new orders have already been placed to replenish the quickly diminishing inventory.
"Salt Potatoes merchandise sales have been absolutely amazing this past week," said Jason Smorol, general manager. "The color scheme, the angry potato logo, everything about it is great and our fans have recognized that. We have been swamped with in-store shoppers and online orders. It is great to see our fans so excited about this fun promotion."
Fans who are interested in purchasing Salt Potatoes gear can visit the Whistlestop Souvenir Store at NBT Bank stadium during any regular season home game, or during the following hours:
When there is no Chiefs home game:
Monday through Friday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday - CLOSED
When the Chiefs are home:
Monday through Saturday - 9 a.m. to 2 hours before the game, the store will re-open when the gates open for the game that evening for fans with a ticket
Sunday - Only open for the game for fans with a ticket
4th of July Holiday Weekend hours:
Friday, June 30th - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 1st & Sunday, July 2nd - CLOSED
Monday, July 3rd - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fans who cannot visit the Whistlestop Souvenir Store may shop online, standard shipping rates apply. Fan also have the option of placing an online order and picking up their order at NBT Bank Stadium, once the order has been filled, at no charge. To do this, fans should select the shipping option of "Pick-Up Only". This method is recommended during this time as merchandise inventory is on re-order due to such a high volume of orders. Online orders will be filled as soon as new inventory is delivered. Online orders can be placed Sunday-Saturday, 24 hours a day at syracusechiefs.milbstore.com.
