Syracuse Mets 2021 Policies: COVID-19, Tickets Security Updates, Bag Policy & more!

Starting June 22nd (the next home Syracuse Mets game), NBT Bank Stadium will be open in accordance with the State guidelines. Most seating areas will become open at 100% capacity seating, while the Stadium will still provide some socially distanced seating sections for fans that are more comfortable continuing to socially distance.

  • Proof of vaccination will no longer be required to sit in any sections at NBT Bank Stadium.
  • Fans who are not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated will still be expected to wear their masks throughout the games except when they are in their seat and actively eating or drinking.
  • Fans that have already purchased tickets from June 22 to July 4th the current period on sale) may exchange their tickets if this new policy affects their seat location either positively or negatively.
  • Tickets for the rest of July 13th through August 1st will go on sale Friday, June 18th
  • The Clear bag policy will still be enforced for the rest of the season.
  • The Met-ticulously Clean program will still be in place. The Stadium will continue to be disinfected and sanitized after every game and the commitment to indoor air quality with HealthWay Air Purifiers in indoor spaces will remain.

Let's get 8,000 plus in here for the July 4th weekend!”

_Tickets for home Syracuse Mets games in July will go on sale June 18th at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets for all games at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office at NBT Bank Stadium or over the phone, 315-474-7833, during regular office hours (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or online anytime at syracusemets.com.

2021 Tickets: June

1. When do 2021 tickets go on sale? Tickets will go on sale for the month of:

  • July 13 – August 1 Tickets – go on sale June 18th at 10 a.m.
  • August 17 – September 19 tickets – go on sale July 23rd at 10 a.m.

2. Why can I only purchase tickets one month at a time? Due to possible changes in COVID-19 regulations, the Syracuse Mets are only selling tickets on a month-by-month basis.

3. How can I purchase tickets? Fans can purchase tickets three different ways:

a. In-person at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office at NBT Bank Stadium (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) b. Over the phone at 315-474-7833 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) c. Online at syracusemets.com

4. I have tickets from 2020, what do I do with them? You can exchange your ticket from 2020 for a ticket of equal value to any regular season home game in 2021 based on availability. Tickets can be redeemed at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office at NBT Bank Stadium (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or over the phone at 315-474-7833.

5. I have a Flex Plan or Flex Plan plus from 2020, what do I do with them? You can exchange your flex plan vouchers from 2020 for any regular season ticket in 2021 based on availability. Vouchers can be redeemed at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office

at NBT Bank Stadium (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) flex plan vouchers can also be redeemed online by entering the barcode number on your flex plan voucher into your My Mets Tickets account when your selecting your tickets, or you can redeem them over the phone at 315-474-7833.

  • Flex Plan Plus parking passes & food vouchers will also be honored for the 2021 season & but not need to be exchanged ahead of time.

6. I have a 2020 Donation that includes tickets, what do I do with it? You can redeem your 2020 Donation Certificate at the Onondaga Coach Ticket Office at NBT Bank Stadium (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or over the phone at 315-474-7833. Donations must be redeemed at least one week in advance & are based on availability.

7. What COVID-19 precautions are the Syracuse Mets taking this year? The Syracuse Mets will be following all New York State COVID-19 safety protocols & procedures.

  • All non-vaccinated staff will be required to wear a mask over their face nose while working
  • Plexiglass will be installed in all concession stands & in the Team Store
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available to all fans.
  • Socially distanced seating will allow for fans and staff to remain 6 feet apart in select sections
  • Increased cleaning & disinfecting of NBT Bank Stadium
  • Air purifiers are located in all indoor locations at NBT Bank Stadium

2021 Security Policies: June

Fans will be required to go through security prior to entering NBT Bank Stadium, including:

  • Walk-through metal detectors OR Wanding
  • Fans will be asked to empty their pockets upon entry to ensure they do not have weapons or dangerous objects
  • Clear Bag Policy, see below for details

§ Clear bags help streamline the security process & speed up entry to NBT Bank Stadium

  • Weapons are not permitted in NBT Bank Stadium, including but not limited to, knives of any length, pocket knives, scissors, razor blades or any other sharp objects.
  • Alcoholic beverages and controlled or illegal substances may not be brought into NBT Bank Stadium
  • Glass bottles, all metal cans and containers and hard-sided coolers are not permitted in NBT Bank Stadium. Guests may bring in one, soft, plastic, factory-sealed water bottle of 20 ounces or less
  • Other prohibited items include; but are not limited to: commercial audio/visual equipment, laser pointers, noisemaking devices, fireworks and animals (except for service animals)
  • Intoxicated or disorderly fans will not be admitted into NBT Bank Stadium
  • Disorderly fans inside NBT Bank Stadium are subject to ejection and arrest
  • Fans interfering with play in any manner, including the throwing of objects onto the field or entering the field, are subject to ejection and arrest
  • Fans using foul or abusive language are subject to ejection and arrest
  • NBT Bank Stadium reserves the right to determine what items are deemed dangerous or inappropriate for entry
  • No re-entry: once you enter NBT Bank Stadium, you will not be permitted to re-enter!
  • No smoking of any kind is permitted inside NBT Bank Stadium, including, but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vapes, marijuana, etc.
